Tonight, the Carolina Hurricanes will take on the Philadelphia Eagles in the penultimate matchup of the regular season for both teams. Carolina needs a single point to clinch the Eastern Conference for the first time since the 2020-21 season, while Philadelphia has yet to clinch their own spot.
With Frederik Andersen having already played back-to-back games (Apr. 9 vs. Chicago and Apr. 11 vs. Utah), it’s likely that we’ll see Brandon Bussi return to the crease, alongside the recent call-ups from our AHL affiliate, the Chicago Wolves. The Canes reassigned Josiah Slavin to Chicago after Utah, but Skyler Brind'Amour, Bradly Nadeau, and Charles Alexis Legault remain on the roster for the time being.
